WILL'S WISH

Will's Wish was founded in honor of longtime RWCC member and Elder Will Malasics. He was concerned about the growing homeless population in and around Rotonda West and wanted RWCC to be helpful in some way to support our neighbors in need. Because of this concern, the RWCC Women's Group became involved in seeking out a way to honor his memory. The Group was directed to the Englewood Bible Church located in north Englewood. This church provides a hot meal on Thursday evenings at the church. In addition, there are 2 portable showers and donated clothing available to those in need at this location. There are other locations throughout Englewood that assist in preparing meals as well throughout the week. The EBC is assisted in this endeavor by many local volunteers from other churches, including St. Francis of Assisi and the Englewood Christian Church. EBC is always looking for volunteers to cook a hot meal on Thursdays.
